    "content": "Hi all,\nOn two passes this evening I and others heard the \"strange\" \nnoise on the AO-51 transponder, when AO-51 was far to \nthe North.\nIt was the same on the fifth of July.\nMost probably it is someone trying DSTAR on the satellite.\nAO-51 is not made for that and has not been opened to DSTAR\ntransmissions as far as I know.\nIf you want to use DSTAR on satellites use AO-27 where the \ncontrol stations say it is OK.\nThe problem is that you are blocking the normal use of the \ntransponder.\n73 OZ1MY\nIb\n\n",
