"content": "It is very sad to confirm this. In fact I was among the very first to note\nthe silence of VO52 and I notified Mani a few days ago. A bird meant for a\nyear and lasting for a decade speaks of ISRO'S brilliance in SAT designs\nand launches. I would prefer to laud ISRO for this 10 yr gift rather than\nget sad about this inevitable loss. Once again I thank ISRO for having\ngiven me endless joys of going Digital with it and which I could not with\nother birds.\n VU2RMS/Ramesh\nOn 21 Jul 2014 20:35, \"'Mani [VU2WMY/KJ6LRS]' [email protected] [amsatindia]\"\n<[email protected]> wrote:\n\n>\n>\n> Dear Friends,\n>\n> With heavy heart, I sadly convey, that our little angel ‘HAMSAT VO-52’\n> would no more be able to offer her services to the ‘Amateur Radio\n> Fraternity. A truly\n> autonomous satellite, with “Zero maintenance“ in terms of Mission\n> operations, it provided a springboard to test many new concepts such as\n> BMU.
