"content": "Bob,\n\nONOEME is a moon bounce beacon transmitting 1296.000 MHz.\n\nFor background information here is the website -\nhttp://users.skynet.be/on0eme/ON0EME/Welcome.html\n\nTX freq is GPSDO and very accurate. Transmit power is nearly 500w\nand the signal reflected back from the moon is LHCP.\n\nThe beacon is on nearly continuously when the moon is visible. Signal\nmode is CW ID and Clean Carrier.\n\nIt is possible to see this signal with a preamp - Funcube Dongle and a\nsingle yagi with linear polarization.\n\nBottom line - if you can detect (or hear) this beacon - you will have\nno problem receiving L-band signals from any satellite in Space.\n\nGL - 73 - Paul - W2HRO\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOn Thu, Mar 8, 2018 at 1:59 PM, Bob- W7LRD <[email protected]> wrote:\n> Hello\n>\n> I am looking for a listing of 1.2ghz signal sources (satellites) for evaluating my L band stuff.\n>\n> 73 Bob W7LRD\n>\n> Seattle\n> _______________________________________________\n> Sent via [email protected].
