    "content": "Folks,\n\nThe Ohio State ARRL Convention will be held Saturday August 4, 2012 in\nconjunction with Voice of Aladdin's Columbus Hamfest.\nThis event, the first convention for the Ohio Section, is beginning to\nshape into a rather big event. Already committed is Guest Speaker, ARRL\nPresident Kay Craigie, N3KN, and there has even been rumblings of a Wouff\nHong ceremony. As a member of the Ohio Section Cabinet, I am also on the\nConvention planning committee.\n\nRegardless, I am looking for volunteers to help mount an AMSAT presence for\nthe event. What I have in mind is a table inside and a Satellite Demo\noutside, similar to what we do at Dayton, but I am open to any and all\nsuggestions. I am also looking for anyone who might have a good satellite\nrelated program that would run 30-45 minutes. It may also be possible to\nhave an Ohio AMSAT gathering during the event.
