"content": "Joe,\n\nThe ARRL bureau is only for DX cards. \nYou can't send outgoing cards to domestic stations. \nOf course if you happen to work any DX on satellite the cards can\ngo through ARRL. (DX is a bit scarce these days!). \n \nThe AMSAT bureau was great when it was working, \nsaves a lot of postage on domestic QSL'ing. \n\nI'm all for it and will volunteer to sort the 6 land cards.\n\nAs info, the county-hunters and possibly other organized operations\nhave their own bureau for domestic and DX cards. When you have \nto collect cards from 3000 counties, it sure pays to use the bureau! \n\n73\nJohn K6YK\n\n\nOn Wed, 31 Jan 2007 22:45:24 -0600 \"Gary Mayfield\"\n<[email protected]> writes:\n> I always wondered why AMSAT had a bureau (I did use it).\n> Do satellite cards not go through the regular bureau any more?\n> \n> 73,\n> Joe\n",
