Here is a collection of\ndata on the various modes for\n use in configuring SATPC32. Note that you will need to tweak the\nsideband frequencies slightly\n to account for rig calibration and other issues, as usual, but these\nshould be close. You can paste \nthese in the DOPPLER.SQF file, but before you do, please read on! \n\nARISSat-1,145918.5,0,USB,,,0,0,BPSK/CW-2\nARISSat-1,145950.0,0,FM,,,0,0,VOICE/SSTV\nARISSat-1,145930.0,435750.0,USB,LSB,REV,0,0,XPDR\nARISSat-1,145938.5,0,USB,,,0,0,CW-1\n\nSince ARISSat-1 will be deployed by a gentle push from the ISS by\nCosmonauts, the ISS Keps will\n be good until separate Keps are released by Space Track. \nOne way to handle the transition is to change the Doppler information\nslightly:\n\nISS,145918.5,0,USB,,,0,0,BPSK/CW-2\nISS,145950.0,0,FM,,,0,0,VOICE/SSTV\nISS,145930.0,435750.0,USB,LSB,REV,0,0,XPDR\nISS,145938.5,0,USB,,,0,0,CW-1\n\nPaste the ARISSat-1 data as desired, and also paste the ISS version of\nthe data into the DOPPLER.SQF \nfile after the regular ISS data. For the final test aboard the ISS,\nand initially after deployment, select \nISS tracking, and then select the desired ARRISat-1 frequency data at\nthe end of the list in the CAT window. \n\nAfter the ISS and ARISSat-1 are far enough apart that independent Keps\nare available, you can begin \nusing ARISSat-1 as a separate object by adding it to the objects you\ntrack in the Satellites menu window. \nThe satellite may be identified as ARISSat-1, but may well have some\nother designation which will be \nreported. If it is not ARRISat-1, then change the name in the first\ngroup above to that used in the Keps. \nThey must agree exactly for SATPC32 to match the Doppler data with the\nsatellite. (You can also use the \nAmsatNames.txt file, which is covered in the SATPC32 documentation.)\nYou can then delete the extra\n ISS data if you wish. They won't hurt anything, but it will clean up\nthe ISS CAT window.\n\n[ANS thanks Alan, WA4SCA, for the above information]\n\n/EX\n\n\nSB SAT @ AMSAT $ANS-205.08\nSatellite Shorts From All Over\n\nAMSAT News Service Bulletin 205.08\n From AMSAT HQ SILVER SPRING, MD.\nJuly 24, 2011\nTo All RADIO AMATEURS\nBID: $ANS-205.08\n\nSatellite Shorts From All Over\n\n+ Congratulations to Ron, N8RO for attaining Satellite VUCC # 219!\n\n+ Look for Makoto, JI5RPT to be active as JD1BLY from Chichijima\n Island (IOTA AS-031) Ogasawara.
