There are two problems; first, they aren't manufactured anymore\nand those who have a KCT aren't too willing to sell; second, KCT requires a\nISA bus which most computer motherboards no longer have (there are some with\nISA, but not many; BioStar is one company which still has MB's with an ISA\nslot).\n\n The computer problem is easily solved; find an older machine with an\nISA slot ( can you say garage sale?); they're usually quite cheap and could\nbe designate a 'dedicated' tracking computer.\n\n In regard to finding a KCT board, starting advertising you're in the\nmarket. Someone may well have one they wish to move.\n\n I use the KCT and plan to keep it for the near term unless something\nreally 'whiz-bang' with USB support hits the market.\n\nTom, WA9AFM/5\n----- Original Message ----- \nFrom: <[email protected]>\nTo: <[email protected]>\nSent: Friday, June 29, 2007 1:54 PM\nSubject: [amsat-bb] simple auto track\n\n\n> Hello\n> What is the simplest auto track software/hardware combination for auto\n> tracking a G5400?
