I am helping a neighbor who is just getting into \nhigh power model rocketry (Tripoli) He is interested in _two way_ \ntelemetry with his rocket and wants the downlink for the usual sensors \nlike altitude, GPS, XYZ-attitude etc. There are _one way_ products that \nprovide the downlink but he also wants to be able to uplink to fire \nparachutes or thrusters (during descent). I am leaning toward an 900 MHz \nISM solution for the RF but am stumped as to what digital platform would \nbe most flexible (and light weight) for the communications needs. Are \nthere any standards or better yett off the shelf products? I am open to \nsuggestions.\n\n-- \nJoe Leikhim K4SAT\n\"The RFI-EMI-GUY\"©\n\n\"Treason doth never prosper: what's the reason?\nFor if it prosper, none dare call it treason.\"\n\n\"Follow The Money\" ;-P\n\n\n", "attachments": [] }
