The applicant affirms that\nhe/she has accurately determined the proper location from the address \ninformation given on the card by signing the\naffirmation statement on the application.\n\nFor more proof, you can simply use qrz.com. In the case of W6RO, it \ndoes not show the actual\nlocation of the ship but you can do so by using the google map for \ngrids and find the ship on the\nsatellite view. This will spot the lat/long and translate into a \ngrid square. You only have to certify\nthat you have determined the correct grid square; you don't have to \nprove it to the card checker.\n\nIt's always good to go right to the rules when there is any \nquestion. Don't assume that the card\nchecker always knows them. You will find that you will get other \ncards over time that don't have\nthe grid square on them.
