"content": "Excellent presentation William! We should hang one of these on every final stage of every rocket (kind of kidding). The possibilities are very thought provoking.\n73 Bob W7LRD\nSeattle\n\n----- Original Message -----\n\nFrom: William Leijenaar \n\nTo: [email protected]\n\nSent: Mon, 13 Apr 2009 20:52:40 +0000 (UTC)\n\nSubject: [amsat-bb] Improved Ultra Small Linear Transponder video\n\n\n\n\n\nHi AMSATs,\n\n\n\nI put some new video on youtube about my thiny linear transponder.\n\nIts a slighty improved version, with better distortion behaviour and some extra features, like a low voltage switch off circuit.\n\n\n\nSome general details:\n\nIts a Mode-UV transponder with 23dBm PEP output on 2m. It runs on 3.7Vdc, power switches off when voltage drops below 3.5Vdc.\n\nBandwidth is 30kHz, and total weight is around 22 grams. It has an onboard beacon that is fully programmable (message, frequency and power).\n\nThe RX and TX frequencies of the transponder are user programmable, and all oscillators are locked to an onboard TCXO.\n\nThis improved version has also the option for an external reference oscillator input, and has a tap at 70cm input and a tap on its 1st IF.\n\nThe taps are very usefull to interconnect to other transponders or connection to external telemetry modems. \n\n\n\nThe video can be found at:\n\nhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5j60SJroodg\n\n\n\nI am presenter and filmer at the same time.\n\nPlease forgive me about the shivering image hihi...\n\n\n\nMore information will follow...\n\n\n\n73 de PE1RAH\n\nWilliam Leijenaar\n\n---\n\n_________________________________________________________________\n\nSee all the ways you can stay connected to friends and family\n\nhttp://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowslive/default.aspx\n\n_______________________________________________\n\nSent via [email protected].
