If you are using a Yaesu data cable, they usually \nderive their power from the mini-din connector on the back. In my case, \na 3 amp surface mounted pico fuse opened up inside the radio. This can \nhappen if you plug/unplug the data cable with the unit hooked up to \npower and especially if it is on.\n\nAgain, don't know if this is the case, but it could be a similar \nproblem.
