Yes, I have always said that it is easier to use the \nHigher bands with the size of antennas being a constraint. I read \nRick's, W2GPS, note on this and he has the posture of time being on his \nside and he is correct. With the areas inside Eagle for experimentation \nand inclusion, we can get a 2.4 ghz transmitter built to be included \nbefore launch time.(Volunteers and efforts stepping up in time, of \ncourse) This being farther away than initial ideas planned. \nRick knows that I do a lot of grass roots work for our organization and \nwe need to re-interest our base of \"operators\" to rejoin our ranks. The \nstanding non-scientific polls I take at Hamfests, demo's etc. are \noverwhelmingly in favor of HEO birds and \"not\" obsoleting what a ham has \npresently accumulated for satellite use. We have a good chance to do \nthis now and quell those that believe our elected officials have been \nborn without ears(HI!). I have spent many conversations with our \nofficials explaining this to them-with purpose.\nRemember, Friday September 15th, is the deadline for voting in new board \nmembers- I suggest you use this leverage as a direct entusiastic stamp \nof approval (or dis-approval) towards what you believe. Keep those 145 \narrays pointing in the proper direction !\n73,\nDee, NB2F\nNJ AMSAT Coordinator\nLM 2324\n\n", "attachments": [] }
