I had hoped to publish details of my experiments.\n\nAfter repeated requests for the information I was eventually told that \nit was commercially confidential and could not be published.\n\nIIRC this information has to be made available to the IARU satellite \ncoordinator before launch, and updated when there any changes, following \nlaunch.\n\nAFAIK it is against amateur radio license regulations to transmit coded \ninformation in the amateur bands, unless the decoding information is \nfreely available. The only exception being access codes to control the \nsatellite, for obvious reasons.\n\nI trust that delfi-C3 won't set a precedent for future projects and this \nproblem will not arise again. We want to encourage radio amateurs and \nstudents to experiment and avoid the 'black box' culture as much as \npossible.\n\nI will be interested in any comments.\n\n73 Clive G3CWV\n\nHitchin, North Hertfordshire, UK\n\n\n\n", "attachments": [] }
