"content": "Hello Vincenzo,\n\nthe G5500 rotator requires 6 wires  for azimuth (connection between the \ncontrol unit and the rotator unit) and another 6  for elevation. 3 wires \nare designed for motor power supply and 3 for voltage from the \npotentiometer (angle sensor). It seems that one (or more) of the three \nwires connecting the potentiometer to the control unit is broken. Then \nthe rotor moves up and down correctly, but there is no signal about the \nantenna position.\n\nThe connection between the potentiometer and the control unit must be \nchecked.\n\nOne wire is used as ground, the other one feeds the potentiometer and \nthe third detects voltage from the potentiometer according to the \nrotation of the antenna.\n\n73\n\n     jarda ok2gz\n\n\n\n\n---\nThis email has been checked for viruses by AVG.\nhttps://www.avg.com\n",
