    "content": "\nWe just returned from the AMSAT Annual Meeting and Space \nSymposium this past weekend in Houston. It was co-sponsored \nby the JSC Radio Club and the Clear Lake Amateur Radio Club, \nwho did a great job supporting the planning and operation of \nthe symposium, and organizing the tour of Johnson Space Center\nand W5RRR club station following the symposium. \n\nNext year's meeting will be in the Washington/Baltimore/NoVA \narea at a date and exact hotel location yet to be determined. \n\nIf AMSAT members in our MDC section would be interested in\nsupporting this meeting in any capacity please get in touch with \nme (Dan Schultz N8FGV) or with Frank Bauer KA3HDO. \n\nI expect that planning sessions will begin in January right after \nthe holidays.
