    "content": "AMSAT-DC Workshop:\nhttp://patkilroy.com/amsat-dc/\n\n\nI HAD A RADICAL IDEA for a fellow AMSAT \nmember who reads this message, to make it \nhis or her own, and run with it. . . . \n\nWHAT IF we have a *great* turn out for our \nSpring Workshop and are \"burdened\" with \neither too many hardware setups overflowing \nthe VC auditorium or too many non-hardware-\ntoting attendees (i.e., lots and lots of \nnon-AMSAT members)? . . . \n\nWHAT IF someone runs a Sat Pass List for our \nlocation for all amateur and Wx satellites \non our workshop date? . . . \n\nWHAT IF the weather on Saturday morning, \nMarch 23, turns out to be an outrageously \nbeautiful day? . . . \n\nTHEN, wouldn't it be awesome if one of us \nwere to set up a \"fully functioning\" (you \ndefine) portable satellite ground station \noutdoors immediately outside the VC audi-\ntorium to actively attempt receptions, and \nperhaps some two-way contacts as well?!! \n\nTHINK of the possibilities! \n\nTHINK of the potential benefits! \n\nThat extra touch would certainly be \"News \nat 11\" material. \n\nThoughts? \n\nAny takers? \n\nCheers,\n\nPat Kilroy, N8PK\n\n\nAMSAT-DC Workshop:\nhttp://patkilroy.com/amsat-dc/\n\nP.S.
