    "content": "All,\n\nWe are gearing up for this year's AMSAT Symposium, to be held in our area\nOctober 9-11, 2009.  The symposium will be held in \"Charm City\"---Baltimore\nMaryland; at the Sheraton Four Points, BWI Airport.  This is a special year\nand a special symposium in that we will be celebrating our 40th\nanniversary!!\n\nAt this point, the Symposium Volunteer team have met twice and are quickly\nsolidifying the program.   \n\nWe do need some additional volunteer support and we are hoping you will be\nwilling to help.  Specifically, we are looking for volunteers to help with\nrunning the AV system, helping set up and maintaining the poster session,\nsupport meeting registration, provide symposium paper moderation, and\nprovide support as part of the PR team.  These are some of the areas we need\nhelp, but could use support in many other areas too.\n\nIf you are interested in helping with this year's symposium, please contact\nme directly at [email protected].  You do not have to have prior\nexperience---we will train all volunteers.\n\nPlease seriously consider volunteering.  And definitely come to this year's\nsymposium there will be some special surprises this year.
