"content": "\nHere's something to try this beautiful weekend! \n\nIncluding the International Space Station, there are \nat least SIX satellites operating in orbit with an FM \nrepeater built in. Wanna try to listen for some with \nme? \n\nListen on your 2-meter radio. If you have a \ndual-band with 440 MHz FM then you can talk \ntoo. (But we'll talk more about talking later. \nLet's see if we can hear the sats first.) \n\nSuggest a repeater around the Washington-\nAnnapolis-Baltimore area and we can start \nsome chats about this. Or use the \[email protected] to share your \nfindings! \n\nMaybe start with the ISS, whose primary down-\nlink or output is on 145.800 MHz FM. The other \nfrequencies can be found in many places, \nincluding: \n\nFREQUENICES AND LATEST SAT STATUS\nhttp://amsat.org/pipermail/ans/2011/000507.html\n\nand more info all around this link: \n\n\nhttp://www.amsat.org/\n\nPrint out this message with the chart below \nfor the satellite schedule. Make sure the \nschedule is printed in Courier or Courier \nNew, font size 10, to appear nicely lined \nup in columns on paper. If desired get \nthe free AMSAT booklet \"Working the \nEasy Sats\" at the link below. \n\nHeck. See even more links below for \nmore scoop for oldsters and newbies \nalike. \n\nLet's do it. Give it a try. \n\nLet's hear from you! \n\nCheers,\n\nPat\nN8PK\n\n\nSATELLITE SCHEDULE by N8PK using SatPC32\n\n WinAos QTH: -77.0/39.4 T#: 12163 Sat.: 6 [Standard]\n ----------------------------------------------------------\n Day Object AOS (L) LOS Period maxEl AZ\n ----------------------------------------------------------\n 21.04.2011 AO-51 16:40 16:51 11 71 159 -
