Signals have been very variable in strength sometimes\nvery strong, sometimes undetectable, even at high elevations. Low signal\nstrength was particularly noticeable at AOS and LOS, and also towards\nthe end of the transmission periods. OSCAR-11 is expected to switch\nback on under control of its on-board timer around 07 March.\n\nThere should be a short period of transmissions before permanent eclipses\nstart in mid March. After March it is unlikely that the satellite will\nsupport any sustained period of operation, and will only transmit for a\nshort time, possibly less than a single orbit, every 21 days.\n\nMany thanks to Peter ZL3TC, Chris M0DQO, Tobias DG3LV, Edward BX1AD,\nMark KU7Z, Gene WA4UKX, SWL Mark in CM87, Ron G4PGY, Julian WB9YIG\nand John KB2HSH for their reports.\n\nOSCAR-11 beacon frequency is on 145.826 MHz, AFSK FM ASCII Telemetry.\n\nSee http://www.users.zetnet.co.uk/clivew/ for additional information.\n\n[ANS thanks Clive, G3CWV for the above information]\n\n\n/EX\n\n\nSB SAT @ AMSAT $ANS-055.05\nARISS Status - 18 February 2008\n\nAMSAT News Service Bulletin 055.05\n From AMSAT HQ SILVER SPRING, MD.\nFebruary 24, 2008\nTo All RADIO AMATEURS\nBID: $ANS-055.05\n\n\nARISS Status Report for the Week of February 18, 2008\n\n1.
