"content": "Since the upgrade, I made a big effort to improve the navigation in \nEaglePedia and now that the coding changes are completed spent some \ntime going through EaglePedia to see how well things have \nimproved. The answer is that it is still difficult to locate \narticles and files in EaglePedia - mostly because things are unused \nor uncategorized. It would be very helpful if the uploaders/article \nauthors could review the list of unused and uncategorized files and \nadd categories and link them into an article (even if that article is \njust a short summary.)\n\nAn unused file is a file that has been uploaded and hasn't been \nlinked into an article. For true images (JPEG, GIF or PNG) this \nmeans there is no article that contains the embedding reference (for \nexample) [[Image:MyImage.jpg]] to display it. For non-image files \n(PDF or DOC) this means there is no article that references it using \n(for example) [[Media:MySpecification.pdf]]\n\nYou can find a list of unused files (and the name of the user who \nuploaded it) here:\nhttp://www.amsat.org/amsat-new/eagle/EaglePedia/index.php/Special:Unusedimages\n\nFiles should also be categorized when uploaded. This means that when \nthe file is uploaded you should add the category it falls into. This \nwhich should normally be the same category as the article that will \nreference or embed it. Before you upload a file you should probably \nbrowse the project categories (now shown on the front page of \nEaglePedia) and locate the appropriate category. When you are at the \nfile upload screen add the category into the summary by typing in \n[[Category:This Category]]\n\nTo see a list of uncategorized files go to:\nhttp://www.amsat.org/amsat-new/eagle/EaglePedia/index.php/Special:Uncategorizedimages\n\nTo categorize a file that is already uploaded without uploading \nanother copy click on the \"Edit\" tab at the top of the description \npage, and then add the category information as shown above.\n\nThanks in advance!\n\n73,\n\nEmily\n\n---------------------------------\nN1DID formerly W0EEC - CM87tm\n\nSupport Project OSCAR - http://www.projectoscar.net\n\n",
