Lightly tug on the connector from bottom side while heating the pin solder side with 400 C hot air.\n\nThen put flux on the for pins and used solder wick and a soldering iron to remove solder and most pin holes opened up. \n\nOn holes that do not open I use a dental explore tool to stick it hole when solder is melted. Remove iron and then take dental tool out.\n\nThen solder in new connector.\n\nI can do more for you if you want me to.\n\nI forgot to clean the flux off the board I am sending back. You can use isopropyl alcohol to do this. I usually use Everclear or Ethel alcohol which leaves no white residue.\n\nBob\n\n> On Jan 9, 2024, at 12:06 PM, Burns Fisher (AMSAT) via pacsat-dev <[email protected]> wrote:\n> \n> --===============0108675984297293611==\n> Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary=\"00000000000059bbda060e872bbb\"\n> \n> --00000000000059bbda060e872bbb\n> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=\"UTF-8\"\n> Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable\n> \n> Thanks Bob.
