This is in the cal routine I think Burns has been referring too.\r\n\r\nThis could be an SPI read issues also?\r\n\r\nThis area of code is going to need more work.\r\n\r\nBob\r\n\r\nOn Apr 25, 2024, at 12:04 PM, Jim McCullers via pacsat-dev <[email protected]> wrote:\r\n\r\n\r\nChis,\r\n\r\nIt was showing up at boot and when I executed the test rx command.\r\nI can’t remember if or how much I tested before rewiring the receiver transformers then having the power supply go out.\r\nIf I did test it was just for startup and I would have ignored the messages.\r\n\r\nI’ll reset the RAM once the updated code is in place.\r\n\r\nThanks\r\n\r\nJim\r\n\r\n\r\nJim,\r\n\r\nThe receiver frequency for each chip is stored in MRAM. So if you have them set to the same frequency that will stay there. You need to reset the MRAM to get the defaults.\r\n\r\nI think a ranging error will show up at boot, printed in the console, but I could be wrong.\r\n\r\n73\r\nChris\r\n\r\nOn Thu, Apr 25, 2024, 12:51 Jim McCullers via pacsat-dev <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> wrote:\r\nBob,\r\n\r\nI finally got everything back in place and brought Blinky up last night.\r\nI'm getting a ranging error on device 0 and no messages from the others\r\nSame when I attempt the rx command.\r\nAll four receivers are showing the same frequency.\r\n\r\nI checked this morning and I'm not running the latest code so have it\r\ndownloaded and will test tonight if possible.\r\nIf it goes well, I'll look into your question. Technically all four\r\nreceives should have the same PLL value as the PLL should range over the two\r\nmeter band.\r\nI'll look at that as well. Have to deep dive into the manual.\r\n\r\nI'm suffering from a stiff neck this week and not able to do much. Always\r\nsomething!\r\n\r\nJim\r\nWA4CWI\r\n\r\nLooking at the feedback from the reading the AX5043 devices I see two have\r\ndifferent PLL vales. The PLL sets the frequency conditions so this may be\r\ninvolved with the two devices that do not seem to be working.\r\n\r\nA listing of the register values reported is attached.\r\n\r\nAlso the code I think is setting these registers. I have not had time to dig\r\ninto the code. If an issue can be seen by someone that has looked at this\r\ncode I would appreciate the help.\r\n\r\n\r\nBob\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n-----------------------------------------------------------\r\n\r\npacsat-dev mailing list -- [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>\r\nView archives of this mailing list at https://mailman.amsat.org/hyperkitty/list/[email protected]\r\nTo unsubscribe send an email to [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>\r\nManage all of your AMSAT-NA mailing list preferences at https://mailman.amsat.org\r\n\r\n-----------------------------------------------------------\r\n\r\npacsat-dev mailing list -- [email protected]\r\nView archives of this mailing list at https://mailman.amsat.org/hyperkitty/list/[email protected]\r\nTo unsubscribe send an email to [email protected]\r\nManage all of your AMSAT-NA mailing list preferences at https://mailman.amsat.org\r\n\n\n", "attachments": [ { "email": "https://mailman.amsat.org/hyperkitty/api/list/[email protected]/email/ZV3MZPJV3SZFHCWHWMHDBRFKTLC4RUQO/?format=api", "counter": 2, "name": "attachment.html", "content_type": "text/html", "encoding": "utf-8", "size": 9038, "download": "https://mailman.amsat.org/hyperkitty/list/[email protected]/message/ZV3MZPJV3SZFHCWHWMHDBRFKTLC4RUQO/attachment/2/attachment.html" } ] }
