I see - at least I had part of it right. Anyway, it was a neat concept. That length may have to be adjusted by a few inches. ;-)

I was actually at my office in North Tampa, with a magmount antenna out the second floor window. The ground plane is a side panel from a junk pc, hooked over the window frame lip!
