Wow Paul, that's incredibly generous. I usually avoid the sometimes random chaos of the FM birds and would hate to see ya do that and then catch a bad couple of passes, as they sometimes tend to be. I've got a Field Day 847 I'd be happy to put in a box and send out there if you wanted a loaner to do a little rover action and go when you could line up everyone that wanted DE on FM or SSB. It's a little rocky on mode J at over a few watts out, at least with my close spaced attic antennas, but fine on all the other linears and FM birds. I'm certainly in no hurry, my Hawaii QSO was on AO10 in 1995, and the first KL7 was a 21/29 mhz QSO on RS12 in 94. A few months one way or the other shouldn't make much difference :) If interested just drop me a line direct ka9p@aol.com. 73 and thanks Scott ka9p

Scott, I completed WAS on 144 MHz via EME and I greatly appreciate the OPs who went remote to help make that possible. I would be happy to go to Delaware to help you get your WAS. Can we do this on an FM bird? I need some time to pull together a portable system. We'll do a test run from my QTH in NJ and then I'll drive south to DE and we'll do it again. Does that work for you? 73 - Paul - W2HRO

I live in Titusville, NJ (FN20nh) about 45 minutes from the Delaware state line.
I was active with LEO satellites in 2015-16 and enjoyed the work.
I am mostly active on EME now but could get geared up if Delaware is really needed on satellites.

What most people don't know is there is a small piece of Delaware on the New Jersey side. I used to drive there from my home that's near Philly in NJ to give out DE. So maybe someone in Central NJ can also put DE on the air....

Several are asking about a Delaware contact. DE has always been rare on satellites. It was one of the last I needed for WAS more than a decade ago.
The most recent op that I am aware of was WA3X. He has no email in qrz and hasn't uploaded to LOTW in about a year.
N8HM operated from there as W3ZM/3 in October 2019. Maybe Paul could be persuaded to take the train up there and satisfy the demand for Delaware?
