I hear a lot of noise from GO32 on it's pass on the beacon downlink of 435.325 . It is supposed to be 9600bps , but I can't copy any packet . Is the noise the packet beacon ?
Probably. Ill try to take a listen today. GO-32 was abandoned a year? Ago due to frequent resets, but maybe they are trying to revive it. For the last two years of its useful life they enabled APRS style packet digipeating.
At 9600 baud, any of the APRS mobiles and HT radios could use it for global messaging and digipeating.
