It's a Russian satellite, John. When the Russians start sharing information with the rest of the world, I'm sure that it will be widely reported. But the Russians aren't talking.

The Amsat current status page shows that RS-44 hasn't been heard for several days.  Does anyone know if this satellite can be put back on line, or is it DOA?
