Mark--

I use MacDoppler (and MacLogger), although on an Intel Mac.  I can tell you a few things about it:

1) V2.38 says it is a universal binary that supports M1
2) You can download without paying very similar to the way SatPC32 works.  I don't remember what is crippled -- it may just be a time thing.  But you could certainly try it on your MacBook.  (I also have an M1 MacBook for other things.  The only thing so far that does not work with "Rosetta", the translation program, is the Kindle app.
3) Don, the owner/writer is EXTREMELY responsive to questions and problems.

Are there any Mac users out there who know of satellite tracking software that will work with "Big Sur" MacOS 11.2 and the new M1 processor chip?

I have a new MacBook, but I'm finding that a lot of older software (not just amateur radio software) will not fly on the new operating system. However, I'm not highly Mac-literate, so I may be missing something. I've tried KLATrack, OrbiTrak, and SatTrak without success. I'm reluctant to pay for MacDoppler unless I know for certain that it will play nice in this environment, especially when this laptop is not going to be my primary operating computer for radio.
