The manual is poorly written with regards to this feature, but Pin 3 on the ACC jack grounds on TX. I break out all the pins to a terminal strip, then use this to key my KJ6KO L amplifier.

I'm looking to add an amp on VHF with an Icom 910 to do some weak signal work on the VHF bands. In addition, it may help my 23cm uplink on satellites. Since the 910 doesn't have an amp relay like most HF rigs, does anyone have suggestions on the best way to wire. It appears that I have to use the PTT/Ground in the microphone. Any suggestions or experience with this? Can e-mail me off board too at almetco (at) Comcast (dot) net.
Thanks
Greg
