Fully support your statement.

I was amongst the early OM's on IO-117 and done a lot of experiment and QSO’s with it. IT IS JUST A GREAT BIRD enabling worldwide QSO particularly with the delayed transmission which I was amongst the first to experiment.

One can do a satellite DXCC with this bird alone.

Unfortunately not active on IO-117 these days as taken up with other projects.

Honestly, it would have been much better if they put in a camera there instead of the digipeater. 

Any projects working on getting into MEO: PLEASE put in a camera (and transmit in a format that is not JPEG)!
