Any IC-970 users out there that have successfully got one to work on FS-3?

Receive works fine but I'm having issues on the transmit side and would like to know how you did it.

I'm following the mod that was on the bb about feeding the 9600 to the varactor.

Kantronics 9612 + on the tnc side.
