I know but with our weather temperature variation here minus 25C up to +34C hand tightening is not enough it came loose and moisture penetrate if connection are not tighten enough. When i wrote " too much pressure" that's what i have in mind but the higher quality adaptor resist much more than the cheap aluminium available on the wall. If i one day i can get a torque meter i will be able to confirm how much difference they can tolerate before dismantling.
BTW i'm only giving about 1/4 turn pass the hand tightening point. I measure with a caliper the barrel thickness of the cheap metal adaptor at .5mm and the higher quality barrel are at 1.5mm. I suspect instead of using an O ring barrel blocking the high quality seems to have thicker blocking ring.
