[amsat-bb] ft 857 afsk only?

hi folks, was just reading on the net that my ft 857 runs afsk only. does this mean i will not be able to copy fsk 9600 baud sat downlink? still learning the fsk,psk,afsk stuff

Like I said, my faraway station did copy me but I was not able to copy him.

hmm any way to modify it?
