[amsat-bb] HRD Question

I am running the free version of HRD and of late have been experiencing a strange problem. The program runs but initializes extremely slowly. It takes at least 4 minutes to begin working. I am just using the satellite tracking portion of the software. The machine here runs Windows8.1 with all the updates. There isn't a virus or spyware problem according to my diagnostic software. All other programs perform normally. I have made sure that no other extraneous programs are running. Can anyone shed light on this unusual situation?
