Yep, calibrated. I don't see a "R" button on the display. In the World Map display the program shows CX6DD (GS232) then "tracking stopped" when I point at the sun. And the tracker points at the sun, I'll come back later and see if it is tracking the sun. I can't find any birds visible from my QTH at present. The ISS just popped up. I close the program then reopen it and the "tracking stopped" message is gone, but so is the ISS. I appreciate the assistance. BTW, I'm using a G-5500 controller to control a G-450 az and G-500A el rotors. --- Ciao baby, catch you on the flip side. GEO

Have you selected the tracking function in the software? You click the "R" button in the upper left corner of the display screen, and if it indicates "R+" it should be able to control the rotors. And don't forget to calibrate them! I use the command line function ("DOS Box") to do it, but again, I forget the name of the program I used. Jim

Thanks. Been there done that. I saw that, GS232, under the CX6DD selection. No joy. I opened the DDE and am able to control the rotors remotely so I know the com port is working, but no tracking. Still pushing buttons. -!8^) --- Ciao baby, catch you on the flip side. GEO

You won't.
IIRC, you select the Yaesu GS-232 protocol, but it's been so long since I set mine up that I don't remember.
