Bernhard- thank you for your comments.
Chatted with a ham whose club’s annual Swap Meet was - well, they couldn’t hold it in-person, traditionally.
But they held it - in a system very similar to the Tables Room that we had this weekend at the QSO Conference.
Imagine … a “Seller” manning his table of stuff … or, possibly, a really exciting item having its own table.
Attendees could chat with the owners … find out more … be offered/shown photos … maybe even “bid” for the more exciting items …
Certainly has potential!!!
Personally, I am a little embarrassed that I haven’t taken as much “advantage” of Zoom sessions in past years. I mean, a team’s meeting via Zoom can be seen by MANY who simply cannot attend physically: Whether due to illness or being homebound … no transportation … students … the hard of hearing!!! (I never use a podium when conducting a meeting in-person. And will move around. And you can see/find someone straining to hear if there’s no PA system set up - and I;ll gravitate that way).
I’d like to see clubs CONTINUE online sessions even after getting back to in-person meetings - just to be able to include those who cannot attend for whatever reason(s). It does NOT need to be an expensive, elaborate, three-camera setup and mixing board. It can be very simple …
But I digress. That’s what 2+ days of no sleep and a bunch of coffee does to me …
THANK YOU again for your QSO Convention comments.

PS I did perm a sat show TEN YEARS AGO for the Anchorage ham club. They had to establish an elaborate microwave setup to get WiFi to the venue … But we pulled it off via Skype! The organizers said attendees thought it was great!
