Steve, I just noticed you have a 74. The steps I posted are for 72. Apologies for the confusion, but I'd guess the process is the same. I'd be curious to know. 73Rick Tejera (K7TEJ)Saguaro Astronomy ClubWww.saguaroastro.orgThunderbird Astronomy ClubWww.w7tbc.org -------- Original message --------From: saguaroastro saguaroastro@cox.net Date: 5/7/21 15:25 (GMT-07:00) To: Steve Kristoff skristof@etczone.com, amsat-bb@amsat.org Subject: [AMSAT-BB] Re: Help with TH-D74A Steve,If you don't have the MCP-4program try this:1) store the rx frequency in a memory channel.2) press VFO To enter VFO mode3) enter the tx frequency4) press "F" and select the memory chanel with the rx frequency you stored in step 15) press OK While holding the PTT and it should now store the tx in the same memory channel. You can check by if you +- where the offer symbol is for regular repeater operation you got it. I am trying to store the odd-split frequencies for NO-104 (DTMF) in the memory of my TH-D74A. I downloaded the official manual, but I can't still can't figure out how to get anything in memory much less the odd-split frequencies. Can someone please point me to a video or a set of step-by-step instructions? I actually have the DTMF tones encoded, I just can't figure out the odd-split into memory part. Thanks in advance.
