[amsat-bb] TS 2000 vs. ???

Input needed...

I really love the 'satellite' feature on my TS 2000 and I'd be lost without it.

But, we know the TS 2000 is not known for good VHF/UHF receive qualities. And there is the birdie issue.

So, is there another base/mobile radio with the same 'satellite' feature and that has much better receive capabilities. I would prefer a current model radio or at least a recent vintage.

Any thoughts appreciated.
