Way to go gents!! This record probably won't be improved any time soon. However I'll keep trying. If this were easy, everyone would be doing it.
Thanks for raising the bar.

Congratulations to Luciano PY5LF and Joe K3SZH for breaking the AO-7 distance record. According to the Tiny Locator program the distance is even better than their claim. The distance is 7,843 km this very close to the theoretical maximum of 7,901 (I seem to recall) I don't think this record will be improved upon in a hurry? Well done ! 73, Pierre ZS6BB _______________________________________________ Sent via AMSAT-BB@amsat.org. Opinions expressed are those of the author. Not an AMSAT-NA member?
