Tonight on the 2031 UTC pass over The Netherlands, DO-64 was passing over at an 86 degrees maximum elevation. So I tried with a portable setup (2x FT817 and an Arrow antenna) as PA1IVO/P.
For a short period of time, I was able to hear myself quite clearly on the downlink, and another station called QRZ to me (probably because of my manual doppler correction on the uplink only, he was not able to copy my call sign). So, with the right conditions it must be possible to work DO-64 QRP/portable (which did not succeed a few days ago on the AMSAT-UK Colloquium unfortunately).
So I will try again tomorrow on the 950 UTC pass, see if we can have some fun again with DO-64. And of course, thanks to the Delfi-C3-team for this new amateur radio satellite.
