I would think that it might also hear the short 1 sec pings of any big satllites (ISS etc) that also went through it unless they have filered those out somehow...
Easy to check. Just put a gnd station at the coordinates of kikapoo texas and watch for any ISS or hubble etc passes the instant they pass an azimuth of 91.5 or 271.5 fro m Kikapoo.

Here's something to do while waiting for the next satellite pass ...
http://spaceweather.com/ has an audio feed of the meteor pings from the Ursid Meteor Shower as they pass through the Air Force Space Surveillance Radar in Texas. Note: the Ursid radiant is circumpolar (always up) over the radar so the echoes may be heard at any hour, night or day. I've heard 4 pings over the past 45 minutes of listening this morning.
