You might want to contact John, the program author, for tips on compiling it on OSX...
Allow me to save you the cost of the postage stamp. :-)
I don't run OSX personally, but have heard from several individuals who have successfully compiled PREDICT under OSX, some of whom have documented their efforts on the web in an attempt to assist other OSX users wishing to do the same:
N1OFZ: http://n1ofz.connares.org/software/predict
Grace Peng: http://badmomgoodmom.blogspot.com/2007/12/diy-satellite-tracking.html
Our own Paul Williamson, KB5MU, has created a "vocalizer" replacement for PREDICT operating under OSX: http://www.mustbeart.com/software/MacVocalizer-manual.html
There may be other help pages as well. Many have hypertext links on the PREDICT web page. When all else fails, "Google is your friend". :-)
The latest version is the one that's available. I don't know if John has plans for updating/enhancing it further.
There has been some contributed code that permits PREDICT to operate under an IPv6 environment, and some other tweaks and fixes that are in the planning stages, but no official releases just yet due to time constraints and the fact that the program, last released in May 2006, still runs like new. :-)
