Same here...
I asked Andy (UZ7HO) about this and he whipped up a full-duplex version of Soundmodem in a matter of hours. Works great with the DCD is disabled. If you send him an email, I'm sure he'll send you a copy. His email address is available on QRZ.
As for your live, on-air testing, have you tried any APRS messaging transmissions instead of attempting to access the BBS?
Plan on doing that on the next pass!
Thanks Scott...

Hey Tony!
Don't have an answer for you but I'm really glad to see your message. I have been experimenting offline with TX through the UZ7HO high-speed soundmodem using recorded FalconSat-3 9k6 data for my RX stream. However, I hit a roadblock with the DCD... I could only transmit when there was no incoming data detected, which is very rare!

All:
I tried accessing Falconsat-3's BBS via PFS3-12 this afternoon, but I wasn't able to connect. I'm using Easyterm with an experimental full-duplex sound card modem by UZ7HO. This version has it's DCD disabled to allow full-duplex operation.
Assuming the BBS is turned on, are there any special parameters needed when using a simple terminal program? It would be nice to use Wisp again, but I don't see a way to use a sound card modem with this program.
Thanks,
