[amsat-bb] New Horizons reaches Ultima Thule tonight

Images of Ultima Thule from the Long Range Reconnaissance Imager on New Horizons are being posted at: http://pluto.jhuapl.edu/soc/UltimaThule-Encounter They don't look like much today, but we expect to see much better images in less than 24 hours.

The entire mission results are at http://www.pluto.jhuapl.edu and the PBS program NOVA will do a special show about the Ultima Thule encounter on Wednesday evening on your local Public Broadcasting station (in the USA at least).
