FalconSAT-3 uses the PACSAT broadcast protocol which doesn't work like a standard terrestrial packet BBS. A program like WiSP would be needed to manage the process of sending and receiving files and directory entries.
WiSP is designed for use with KISS TNCs via a serial port. Unfortunately, it appears that Soundmodem's KISS mode uses a TCP connection. I suppose a utility that could route the packets to and from a TCP port to a virtual serial port might work.

I tried accessing Falconsat-3's BBS via PFS3-12 this afternoon, but I wasn't able to connect. I'm using Easyterm with an experimental full-duplex sound card modem by UZ7HO. This version has it's DCD disabled to allow full-duplex operation.
Assuming the BBS is turned on, are there any special parameters needed when using a simple terminal program? It would be nice to use Wisp again, but I don't see a way to use a sound card modem with this program.
Thanks,
