An audio recording of the HO-68 26Dec09 1544z pass over North America is on my webserver:
http://www.papays.com/HO-68_26Dec2009_154401z.mp3
I counted about 20 different stations on this pass. Packet continues to affect the voice repeater in such a way that it can be difficult to make a contact. 145.825 is a busy frequency and there are probably stations that are set to beacon at frequent intervals. Then there are those that are trying to connect to the BBS at the same time that others are trying to use the voice repeater. This does not work very well over the US where there is a great deal of activity.
The following packets were copied during the pass. Many other packets were heard but not decoded. The date/time stamp was added to indicate when the packet was received. It is accurate to within a few seconds:
BJ1SA-11>PBLIST [12/26/09 15:45:53]:PB: Empty. Signals were strong throughout the pass with some downlink polarization shifting.
Thanks again to AMSAT-China for this very nice satellite.
