To say that I was shocked to learn of Andy's passing would be an understatement.  He was a good friend of at least 40 years standing.  He will be sorely missed by the entire amateur satellite community.

Andy was an enthusiastic participant in AMSAT's CW Activity Day and its predecessor, Straight Key Night on OSCAR.  The 2022 edition of this event will be held in his memory.
