Thanks for the shout. I am parked next to a monument marking the 50th parallel along the waterfront in Campbell River, British Columbia, now. GPS says the line is south of the monument, oh well. Only 16C/61F here, much better than back in Phoenix at the moment. And a full week to go up here.
I did not hear the first 30 to 45 seconds of the 7- minute repeater time, being so far north. Still fun to get through. Thanks to portable gear and no problems at Phoenix airport security and Canada Customs, I have my normal (portable) station with me. :-)
