I also had trouble with QSO's and keeping track of them. So I use two radios a yaesu VX-170 for transmit and Ic-w32a for receive. Now I have a splitter on the speaker jack on ic-w32a from radio shack. One side goes to a digital recorder and the other goes to headset or if doing a demo a external speaker. Now I can hear during transmit and record the QSO. Then latter I can listen to the recording and put them in the log.

The other day I made my first contacts using my IC-W32A and my "Cheap Yagii Arrow" antenna. Like many before me I found paper logging to be impossible. There have been many clever solutions to this problem using a recorder documented, but I can not find any reference to them. Is there someone with a better memory, or filing system, who could point me to some references.
