After noticing that a SatNOGS station (through a fluke of configuration) had decoded a packet [1] on the new repeater downlink frequency, I investigated a bit more and found that all the passes observed recently had 9k6 FSK packet traffic on the downlink.
An example packet: [0.4] NA1SS>0P0PS4,APRSAT:'v&<0x1c>l <0x1c>SI]ARISS-ISS PM2=<0x0d> ------ U frame UI: p/f=0, No layer 3 protocol implemented., length = 48 dest 0P0PS4 0 c/r=0 res=3 last=0 source NA1SS 0 c/r=1 res=3 last=0 digi 1 APRSAT 0 h=0 res=3 last=1 000: 60 a0 60 a0 a6 68 60 9c 82 62 a6 a6 40 e0 82 a0 `.`..h`..b..@... 010: a4 a6 82 a8 61 03 f0 27 76 26 1c 6c 20 1c 53 49 ....a..'v&.l .SI 020: 5d 41 52 49 53 53 2d 49 53 53 20 50 4d 32 3d 0d ]ARISS-ISS PM2=. ------ Is this being generated within the new Kenwood radio, or somewhere else? What does the packet contain? (It looks like there might be some telemetry in there?)
