Roger, You might look at PSTRotator software. It supports ERC and the COM ports...and is inexpensive software.

The Milwaukee Radio Amateur Club is sponsoring and assembling an ARISS contact station. We've purchased an ERC-M USB from Vibroplex and installed SATPC32 on a Windows 7 laptop.
Our initial tests with the included software for the ERC work and we can control the rotor when we specify COM4. However when we launch SATPC32, the Rotor options for Yaesu only list LPT ports. Could anyone provide guidance for a way to specify USB COM4 for the ERC in the SATPC32 software?
Reading the archives, it seems like others have been successful with this configuration. Could someone provide us with additional information on your setup for SATPC32? Or should we possibly consider an alternate software such as GPredict (though GPredict only had network settings for rotor control, I didn't see any COM port fields in GPredict either). I'm a bit confused how others set this up.
Thanks for any assistance, Roger AC9BT _______________________________________________ Sent via AMSAT-BB@amsat.org.
